About Me

With a love of storytelling and an inquisitive mind, I am a journalist and photographer who seeks the truth and stories in my surrounding communities.

With my passion for media, I wear many hats as a journalist, photographer, and social media lead. At Washington and Lee University, I am a senior double-majoring in Journalism and Studio Art, with aspirations to become a Tv news producer post-grad.

From writing in my college student newspaper, The Ring-Tum Phi, AsAmNews, and my college’s newscast to several summer internships, I have experience in both print and broadcast journalism. I enjoy the behind-the-scenes roles in the TV newsroom, focused on producing and multimedia.

During the summer of 2023, I interned at The Harvard Press, a weekly newspaper in Harvard, Massachusetts, where I wrote several articles weekly.

The following summer in 2024, I was a news intern at WCVB Channel 5 in Boston.  From shadowing reporters and writing for digital news and producers to helping with a weekly political show and working at the assignment desk, I learned a great deal about broadcast journalism.

This past summer, I interned at Newschannel 20 in Springfield, Illinois, gaining deeper experience in TV news. I wrote scripts, added supers to packages, and developed my skills as a news producer. I also boothed the midday show and learned about TV news markets across the country. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience with Avid video editing and shooting b-roll in the field.

I have a strong background in both digital and film photography. My passion is photojournalism: the art of letting images tell the stories words can’t

At school, I also love to experiment with my art. I am currently working on my thesis exhibit exploring multiple exposure photography.
